Payment Policy
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
- Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American
Express)
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and all UPI apps)
- Net Banking (all major Indian banks)
- Digital Wallets supported by our payment partner
- Cash on Delivery (COD), available on eligible orders up to
₹10,000 in most serviceable PIN codes
- NILA Wallet credit, where available on your account
- NILA Membership benefits, applied automatically at checkout
where you hold an active plan
PAYMENT SECURITY
All online payments are processed through Razorpay, a
PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. NILA does not
receive, see, or store your full card number, CVV, or banking
credentials at any point - these are handled entirely within
Razorpay's secure infrastructure.
ORDER VERIFICATION
We reserve the right to verify any order before processing,
particularly for:
- Cash on Delivery orders above a certain value
- First-time customers
- Orders that our fraud-screening flags as high-risk
Verification may involve a confirmation call, SMS, or email.
Orders that cannot be verified may be cancelled with a full
refund where payment was already made.
CASH ON DELIVERY TERMS
- Available on orders up to ₹10,000, subject to PIN code
serviceability
- Please keep exact or close-to-exact change ready for the
delivery agent
- We reserve the right to restrict COD eligibility for
specific customers or order values at our discretion
FAILED OR PENDING PAYMENTS
If a payment fails or shows as pending after checkout:
- Check your bank/UPI app to confirm whether the amount was
actually debited
- If debited but your order doesn't show as confirmed,
the amount is typically auto-reversed by your bank within
5-7 business days
- If it isn't reversed within that window, email us with your
transaction reference number and we'll help resolve it
CURRENCY
All transactions on NILA are processed in Indian Rupees (INR).
We do not currently support international payment methods or
currency conversion.
REFUNDS TO ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD
Refunds are credited to your original payment method except
where our Return Policy specifies wallet credit instead (see
Return Policy Section on discounted/bundled orders and
warranty claims). Typical refund timelines by method:
Credit/Debit Card 5-7 business days
UPI 2-3 business days
Net Banking 5-7 business days
Wallet/Digital Pay 1-3 business days
Cash on Delivery 5-7 business days (via bank transfer)
